Bangkok's University four story building have recently completed by Bangkok-based 49 Group. Two floors of it was designed by Supermachine Studio, a group of four multitasking architects that team member Pitupong "Jack" Chaowakul describes as "a small office with big projects".
Their work in the Bangkok University Creative Center includes a workshop, library, exhibition space, viewing room and office. To encourage creativity, communication and experimentation, the BUCC facility needed to be open, playful, expressive and flexible.
Lo-Fi Pixel Wall is one of Supermachine's solution to the interior design, which is a 180 square-meter wall surface covered with 10,000 custom-made rotating four-sided plastic. Each side has a different color: pink, blue, green and yellow. By turning it, everyone can make color patterns and experiment with the dynamic wall.
