Taking a cue from the structural characteristics of trees, designer Scott Jarvie has grouped hundreds of simple, striped, plastic drinking straws to create an innovative but functional light. Dubbed as the Clutch Light, the beautiful lamp not only illuminates the interior place but also helps in sustaining the environment. The reflective inner surface of the straws transmits the light in a directional manner to create a gripping effect. Via design.fr
