As natural disasters hit many countries in this recent decade, a relief shelter is becoming an important thing to consider. German designer Adrian Lipmann has developed the Fold Flat shelter which is compact in use for disaster relief.

The tent like structure designed using a variation in geometrical lines best represents design ingenuity for disaster relief shelters. The unsupported mini house made of light composite panels is an adjustable structure which can be assembled and disassembled. The shelter is erected by first folding the walls and roof to attain the shape with substructures placed later to finish the simple construction.
