When DoshDosh announce his new blog’s logo, at the same time I have introduced to a man called David Airey. He’s the man behind the Maki’s logo redesigning. At the same time, I have assigned a task from my friend to design his corporate logo which running business around rice products. His company distributes rice from the farmer to the end user or local stores, and he is going to build a brand awareness for public. A company logo will done his job, but before it’s all done, a process of design should be on the track.
As I visited David Airey’s, I found his blog as a valuable resource for every logo desginers. I’m not currently a logo designer, but I’m going to make one, so reading David Airey’s post would be something worthy to go along the process.
I like his post about his handdrawn sketches when he tried to make a logo design for Five 54, a graphic design business. He put more than 30 sketches of various forms of rough logos that explained me that designing a logo weren’t that simple. We need steps.
