Enhancing the Japanese traditional tea brewing process, designer Yuki Hirayama has presented the refined tea kettle named Fall. The design adds the precision to the ritual of tea serving and drinking, by allowing people to control the strength of the tea.
With the simple locking system, users can easily withdraw the sliding strainer from the hot water at any point during the brewing process. It also eliminates the need to fully remove the dripping leaves from the kettle to reduce the mess.
Fall kettle can be placed on any flat surface without damaging it, courtesy of the concave heating transfer element at the bottom. The metal part takes heat from the heating station that transmits heat only when it detects the weight of the kettle. The heating station gets charged through the cord that can be stored neatly in its base, when used as a cordless heating station.
