How the hearing impaired people can enjoy music just like any normal people do? This question might have bothered designer Jackson McConnell to create Ripple, a unique speaker system for the hearing impaired.
As the hearing impaired cannot use their ear to listen, Ripple spekaer uses the vibration of music to stimulate the particular part of a deaf person’s brain that gets activated when a person with no hearing difficulties listen to music and contains an oscilloscope to show the wave patterns of the sound
With multi leveled vibration inputs, the needle rises and lowers accordingly to give a feel of the sound and visualizes the frequency on the oscilloscope to make the hearing impaired person able to feel the music.
