What should came into my head when I offered to have a video game console for my 10th birthday gift was a Nintendo Electronic System (NES). The console was my very choice at the first time because I was so in loved with Mario and Luigi which I usually have with my cousins. Hunting for mushrooms and mighty flowers in order to save the Princess was an unforgettable moment. There were eight levels to be accomplished and I usually passed them within two days.
Talking about video games, Nintendo Entertainment System was a remarkable one after its predecessor, Atari. Its success then followed by the 32-bit game console: Sega. They kicked off the new gaming experience by offering a broad selection of game titles. One that never shifted off from my favorite was Mortal Kombat. Various tricks, hotkeys, and hidden figures were the interesting feature that I adore the most from the game.
To cope with the success of Sega, Nintendo launched the 64-bit generation named Nintendo 64. Unfortunately, the console was nothing more than a short buzz that I never noticed it for being popular. None of my friends give it a shot.

Nintendo Wii is another story from the company. Unlike the early years, now they have to compete with another rival such as Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox. But, with the innovation, Nintendo Wii brings the new experience in the gaming world with the introduction of the Wii Remote that completely different with other system. My friend gave it a try and the result was astonishing. I think I’m going to have one.
