Ever heard about the Chicago Spire? If not, maybe you want to take a sneak peek at Santiago Calavatras masterpiece. Being an architect has inspired him to design a massive 600 meters skyscraper that will dominate the Chicago skyline. Inspired by the nature as most of his work, Calavatra design the skyscraper as being twisted, spiralling snail shells, which each floor is rotated 2.44 degrees from the one below. At the top, the twist is forming a complete 360 degrees twist.

The Chicago Spire that will be completely built in 2011 provides 150 floors and features over than 1,000 residences. How about the prices? Hmm, it’s definitely not cheap since they’re starting from 750,00 to 40 million USD.
