For almost 2 months ago, many people have talked about the upgrade already, and the conversation spread so everyone are expecting its upgraded features in the real shape which they already described on the pre-release: WordPress 2.5 Sneak Peek.
This popular blogging platform spent their six months to release the latest update, and it brings some big changes to its implementation. The new dashboard would become more organizable and easier for user to track their with the new blog stat tracking widgets. A new media gallery allows the user to manage and search any of their media files such us images and videos. And for multi authored blog, this update provides the editing protection for better blog maintenance.
Typically, it might be better for them to call this upgrade as 3.0 rather than 2.5 since they brought many changes to the system. Upgrading the WordPress would be easy to have with one-click install systems instead of do it manually, but surely users should have to wait for several days to have the upgraded version being added to their CPanel.
