The Second Body Clock: The Meal Time

New study from Harvard Medical school which presents that brain has a special meal clock that keeps animal from napping all the time when their stomach had to be filled with foods. As we know, the body has somekind of masterclock that tells us when we should sleep and when we should awake. The timepiece take cues from the sun to synchronize our body with the rest of the world.

By working with mice, the Harvard scientists make their discovery to the second clock of the body. This clock tend to respond more to food instead of sunlight. For instance, if there’s a cheese shortage when the mouse makes his midnight run, he can reset his alarm to see if the snack bar is better stocked at noon.

This finding might be a good news to travelers that they are available to set their body clocks. Thereby, they can adjust more quickly to the local time zone, plus minimizing the jet lag, by simply not eating anything on the plane. So, no matter how long does your flight, this sounds to be a good advice.

Other girl stuff...
