The uterus project was designed for children with special needs, whom took part in the design process of The Biological model called uterus in which the embryo grows and develops.

Lior Vaknin + Sabi Aroch was inspired by the uterus philosophy to design the kid’s room and living area, assuming the kids are the embryo and the surrounding area is the uterus creating a living area that prompts the evolvement of the children.

The colors were carefully selected in order to create a worm and pleasant feeling that would lead to a positive and energetic feeling to the different rooms and the children’s room in particular. Symbols representing a positive way of thinking were commonly used such as the + and even motives from literature – the curved edges of books.
